Andrea Brown - Owner /Color Technician
Andrea has been a resident of Whidbey Island since 1977. A graduate of Langley High School and Everett Beauty Academy. "Continued Education is a top priority at Studio A Salon and it is the key to success," says Andrea. Recent Education includes travel to Santa Monica, Baltimore, Las Vegas, and Palm Springs as well as monthly in-salon education, regional shows and seminars.

In 1989, she opened a tanning business. In 1992 that business expanded and was renamed Studio A Salon. The company has expanded twice and has a thriving internship for training new employees.
Between 1993 and 1996, Andrea was also employed as an educator in Hair Color Theory and Color Formulation for Goldwell Cosmetics International. This included assisting in regional seminars and hair shows for Goldwell. She considers this and acquiring an Instructors License the biggest growth opportunities of her career.
